Anshan SinoPec Tianbao Steel Pipe Co. , Ltd. Established in October 2004 is a domestic joint venture company jointly invested and formed by Sinopec Pipeline Bureau and Sshengyang Tianbao Group. The company is located at the foot of national scenic spot Qianshan Mountain in the hinterland of East Liaoning Peninsula. The company is situated on the north side of external ring road of Anshan City, neighbors to Anshan Iron and Steel Company Group, about 1.5kw from Lingshan railway freight yard to the east, about 5 km from Shenyang –Dalian Expressway Exit to the west, about 75kw from Yingkou Byuquan Harbor and about 285kw from Dalian Harbor to the south and about 95kw from Shenyang Airport to the north. The transportation and communication are very convenient.
The company covers an area of 67915m2. the total investment of the company is RMB600million. Now there are about 400 employees including more than 50 technical personnel and more than 20000 m2. warehouse for shoring spatial pipes. The company mainly produces and sells petroleum casing pipe, oil pipe, ERW straight welding steel pipe and pipes for petroleum and natural gas. The company owns three production lines for casing pipe, oil pipe and coupler. It is planned to set up two production lines to produce 219ERW straight welding steel pipe (100,000 t/a) and 630ERW straight welding steel pipe (300,000 t/a) .
The company has perfected its internal management system, carried out personnel training systematically in the aspect of technique and quality in accordance with GB/T19001—2000 (idt ISO9001:2000) in November and requirements of API SpecQ1 quality essentials and established and strengthened the company’s quality control system in the light of the company’s practical conditions and according to GB/T19001—2000 (idt ISO9001:2000) and requirements of API SpecQ1 quality essentials to provide the customers with reliable products and satisfactory services.
